NZSFP Reefton

New Zealand Sustainable Forest Products is a forest management, sawmilling and processing company located in Reefton.

Lordship Engineering were asked to project manage the selection and purchase of second-hand plant machinery to build a wood veneer plant, and to refurbish and install the equipment.

The components of the machinery were sourced both locally and from overseas, and were often received in a poor, heavily corroded condition. The parts were stripped, cleaned, upgraded and reassembled back to full working condition and then transported to the Reefton site to be rebuilt.

At the completion of the project we carried out operator training and set-up a preventative maintenance system for staff.
